About this site
This site walks through the Catechism for the Global Methodist Church one question at a time. Each page quotes the church's answer with its scripture references and doctrinal citations, then adds commentary and video teaching.
The catechism draws its answers from the church's doctrinal standards: the Nicene Creed, the Articles of Religion, the Confession of Faith, and the Book of Doctrines and Discipline. Where the catechism cites an article of the Confession of Faith or ¶102 of the Book of Doctrines and Discipline (the paragraph that sets out the Wesleyan way of salvation), the reference appears by name beside the answer.
Scripture on this site is quoted from the Anselm Project Bible, used by permission. Each reference in a question's margin opens the full passage on the page.
The site was built by Paul Miller, pastor of Hopeland Methodist Church and a candidate for ordination as an elder in the Global Methodist Church. The commentary on each question is his. The site is his own teaching project; the Global Methodist Church has not published or reviewed it, and the catechism text is quoted exactly as the church wrote it.
