The catechism in
thirteen sessions
An introduction and thirteen sessions, about 4.1 hours in all, covering every one of the 77 questions. Each session reads the printed answers and then explains their meaning, their biblical foundations, and the history behind the wording. The course is made for new members, confirmation classes, small groups, and personal study. Written by Paul Miller and read by an AI narrator; scripture is read from the Anselm Project Bible.
What do Methodists believe?
This introduction explains what a catechism is, why Christians teach through questions and answers, and how to use the 13-session course. Learn where the 77 answers come from: Scripture, the Nicene Creed, the historic Methodist Articles of Religion and Confession of Faith, and the Wesleyan way of salvation. The lesson also explains how the Global Methodist Church's 2026 Articles of Faith relate to those older documents. Biblical examples from Deuteronomy 6 and Judges 2 show why passing on the faith belongs to families and congregations. Each lesson reads the printed answers and then explains their meaning and biblical foundations.
