Summary

Questions 1 to 6 introduce one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. The lesson explains what Christians mean by the Trinity: three distinct, inseparable persons who are eternally one God. Follow the biblical teaching through Jesus's baptism, God's care for creation, and his power, wisdom, justice, goodness, and love. Historical examples explain why Christians rejected teachings that divided the Creator from the Father of Jesus or confused the persons of the Trinity. The session also introduces the relationship between the historical Confession of Faith and the Global Methodist Church's combined Articles of Faith adopted in 2026.
